BSC are now the proud owners of a unique piece of art work. What makes this so special is that this was produced by the children of Tŷ Hafan using wheelchairs.
Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
They offer comfort, care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
The facilities at Tŷ Hafan allows parents and carers to relax and recharge their batteries and also ensure that the needs of brothers and sisters are never forgotten.
Every year Tŷ Hafan has to raise £4 million to provide its free services to families in Wales and placing their Wheelchair Art at this year’s Forum for the Built Environment’s Annual Dinner was one of the many ways that they hope to raise valuable funds.
The FBE were celebrating their 70th year of a being a multi-discipline networking organisation which connects people from across the construction industry and as a local company, BSC were happy to bid for such a unique auction piece and play a small part in supporting such a worthwhile charity.
